Your healing journey begins with an extensive Chronic Illness Intake Questionnaire, which takes approximately 45–60 minutes to complete. This form is a key diagnostic tool and must be filled out in detail. On the morning of your visit, your physician arrives at 6:00 AM to study your questionnaire before you walk in the door. This early review allows your doctor to:

Honor your time and ensure every minute is meaningful
This review time is reserved for only 1–2 new patients per day, allowing for exceptional focus and depth.
Your First Visit: A 60-Minute Deep Dive Into Your Health
This visit is dedicated to understanding your health story at the deepest level. During this appointment, your chronic illness doctor will:
Build on your completed questionnaire
Explore your symptoms, triggers, and health patterns
Ask targeted questions based on your unique history
Identify immediate needs and stabilization strategies
Order labs and advanced diagnostics tailored to your presentation
Diagnostics may include:
Functional Neurological Testing (covered by most insurance)
Functional Neuro Exam
MEAD Analysis ($200, optional but highly beneficial)
Comprehensive lab panels
Depending on your condition, the doctor may recommend early therapies to support stabilization and reduce daily burden. Total time at the clinic for Visit 1: 90–110 minutes.

Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, copays, and vitals
Understand that arrivals later than 5 minutes must be rescheduled

After your medical visit, you will meet with your Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). This team member guides you through the Helixona care process and ensures you feel supported from day one. During this visit, your PCC will:
Teach you how to use the Healow app for communication, refills, and scheduling
Provide a clinic tour
Clarify next steps and answer questions
Help organize your diagnostic and treatment schedule
Your Second Visit: Results, Findings, and Your Personalized Plan
Duration: 60 minutes with the doctor + PCC review.
At your second appointment, your physician will:
Review your lab results
Go over diagnostic findings
Integrate your neurological assessments
Clarify any diagnoses (if appropriate)
Map the initial treatment framework
Determine whether additional testing is needed
This is the appointment where your personalized root-cause treatment plan is created. Many patients choose to bring a trusted partner or family member for support. Afterward, your PCC will help you:

Enroll in Fullscript for physician-trusted therapeutic support
Schedule recommended treatments
Clarify expectations and timelines
Total time at the clinic for Visit 2: 80–90 minutes.
